As the Electrical and Instrumentation Production Technician you will be responsible for day to day diagnosis, maintenance, repair and modification of electrical and instrumentation equipment to deliver reliable availability of plant in a safe and sustainable manner. You will be working on and supporting the overall maintenance operations of AGL Torrens Island and Barker Inlet power stations. Specific responsibilities include:

- Ensuring that defined maintenance quality standards are met
- Planning, resourcing, organising and delivering planned maintenance
- Supervising and training internal and contractor Electricians and Instrumentation Technicians
- Ensuring that Health, Safety and Environment systems and goals are adhered to

About You:
You will be an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician with a background in heavy industrial operations and have experienced in fault finding of DCS, SCADA, PLC’s, switchboards, motors and pneumatic control devices. Your commitment to safety and quality will be first rate. You will be a team player that can also work autonomously, and you enjoy passing your knowledge on to those in the team.

What you bring to the table:

- An Electrical Trade qualification and South Australian Electrical Licence
- A Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Controls
- EEHA qualifications are preferred but we can assist with qualifying if required
- An understanding of permitting, risk assessments and HSE requirements, along with a commitment to questioning unsafe practises.
- A continuous improvement mindset
