Workshop Foreman

Marine Affair is located at the Boat Masters precinct and the pristine waters of Hope Harbour Marina - Hope Island. Family Owned and Operated, we service, repair and maintain all makes and models of jet skis and boats. This includes on trailer, on the water, or larger boats lifted onto hard stands.

We are pleased to offer a rare opportunity for an experienced **Workshop Foreman or **suitably skilled equivalent tradesperson to join our team

You will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Workshop Manager to drive and maximise productivity, efficiency and profitability.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum 3 years experience and relevant qualifications.
- Previous experience and demonstrated success in a similar role
- Experience with large and small engines. (Marine or Automotive)
- Experience in leading a productive team
- Excellent time management skills and be highly organised
- A high level of professionalism, and good sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Hard working, great work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable with QLD drivers essential and boat license an advantage.
- Ability for Immediate start.

**Tasks & Responsibilities (including but not limited to)**
- Service, repair and maintain all makes and models of boat and jet ski engines.
- Always ensure compliance with all WHS Policies & Procedures
- Ensure compliance with industry and quality standards and operating procedures
- Electrical install of GPS Fish Finders/sounders
- Ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues
- General workshop duties
