**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a **Permanent position on an even time sportsman's 5,4,5 roster,** DIDO from our Boddington Bauxite Mine, is located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).

This role reports to the Supervisor Mine Services. As the Operator Mine, you'll play a crucial role in executing operational activities by operating equipment. You'll ensure all tasks are completed in line with Boddington Bauxite Mine standards, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. Join us in driving excellence in our mining operations The mine services team conduct a variety of operating tasks aiding in the development and preparation of ore benches and in preparing areas for rehabilitation.

**Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to**:

- Follow the production plan under the guidance of the Mine Services Supervisor to ensure efficient mining and development activities.
- Execute mine development activities as outlined in the production plan
- Operate equipment in accordance with established operational standards and procedures.
- Communicate equipment status effectively to mine control to ensure seamless operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standard procedures while promptly reporting any incidents or hazards.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Experience in operating heavy machinery.
- Hold a current C class licence
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in both oral and written English.
- Meets defined behavioural and safety awareness expectations.
- Have experience working collaboratively as part of a team and contributing to projects.

**Desirable**
- Technical background in production or mining, with knowledge of operating mining equipment.
- Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders at an individual contributor level.
