What are we looking for?

We have a great full time opportunity available for a Facilities Lead in our Melbourne office. As a senior member of the team, you will help to create a proactive, service oriented and high morale team that meets the company’s facilities requirements and role modelling the Slater and Gordon values and behaviours.You will work with the Facilities team to ensure the facilities management function works effectively on a day-today basis and assist in the continual improvement of the operations and processes. Duties include but are not limited to;- Proactively support and generate outcome analysis and continuous improvement activities for facilities.
- Assist in managing routine maintenance contracts, ensuring service levels are agreed, meet office needs, and are delivered.
- Actively work with the wider business to identify key needs, agree process improvements, and monitor satisfaction with delivered service.
- Project manage office moves, closures, openings etc.
- Day to day contact with landlords, identifying and proactively addressing potential problems to ensure facilities are kept at a high standard.
- First point of contact for facilities incidents, including coordination with the external facilities vendor to agree and action appropriate responses
- Liaise with staff and sub-contractors, ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery of agreed services.
- Support data collection for any required reporting, updates or activities to ensure facilities and procurement related compliance obligations are met.
- Maintain an awareness of Codes of Practice relating to amenities & safe work environment, and continual review of Slater & Gordon’s compliance with those standards.
- Travel to other offices nationally when required
