An exciting and unique opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Strategic Communications, Engagement and Protocol branch (SCEP) as Adviser, Internal and Corporate Communications at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

The Strategic Communication, Engagement and Protocol (SCEP) branch provides specialist communication and protocol advice and support to DPC and the Premier's Private Office.

The Adviser, Internal Communications is responsible for providing high-quality and effective communications and stakeholder engagement services to DPC staff and stakeholders, to support the delivery of departmental and government priorities.

We're looking for someone who can deliver high-quality communications content via a range of internal channels, including messages to all staff and internal staff newsletters and various corporate reports. You will also provide specialist communications advice to internal stakeholders, including communications professionals across the Victorian Government.

**About you**
- Outstanding time management, organisational and prioritisation skills, with the flexibility to respond to urgent requests in a calm manner.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to identify key stakeholders and initiate and maintain effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated experience being resourceful and proactive in delivering communications support to stakeholders and colleagues.
- Sound conceptual and analytical skills with a strong initiative and an ability to develop appropriate solutions to solve problems and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
