Merak GF Café currently has positions available for dedicated & reliable Café All-rounders (dual role) to become an integral part of our dynamic team.

**Position**: Café All-rounder / Kitchen Assistant (dual role)
Location: Redland Bay Village, Stradbroke Street Redland Bay
Employment Type: Casual or Part-Time (10+ hrs depending on experience)
Working Days: Thursday to Sunday (**must be able to work weekends**)

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Front of House (FOH) Duties**:

- Greet and serve our customers.
- Operate the POS system efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the FOH area.
- Ensure all FOH stations are reset, restocked and prepared for service.

**Food Preparation**:

- Prepare a variety of simple deli items, including wraps, rice bowls, waffles, and quinoa power bowls - as needed
- Ensure all food items are prepared to the highest quality and hygiene standards.
- Assist in the maintaining, preparation and stocking of the deli fridge.
- Assist kitchen staff where needed.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work cohesively with team members to ensure smooth café operations.
- Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and service flow.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a café or food preparation role is **essential**.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work on the specified days**:Friday through Tuesday**.
