A rare opportunity for you to step into a hands-on leadership role with a growing engineering services contractor committed to innovation in service delivery to maintain their excellent track record of contract renewals with customers. Backed by a strong balance sheet, they are experiencing steady growth supplying contract maintenance and project services across Australia. Your passion for building a strong team, driving cultural change and continuously improving operational delivery will be key to your success. Based in Melbourne, you will lead an established delivery team to provide substation / underground distribution cable maintenance, testing and renewal / upgrade project services that meet client requirements, KPIs and financial targets.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage, motivate and resource your team, work with direct reports to forecast, schedule and allocate internal and external resources.
- Change management, strengthening and building a team culture of safety, performance, customer satisfaction, quality and continuous improvement.
- Delivery of electrical transmission and distribution maintenance, testing and upgrade / renewal project contracts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, safety and on target profitability.
- Supporting the growth of the business through ensuring strong client satisfaction and relationship development with clients.

You have:

- Success in a similar role or evidence of your capability and motivation to step up to this level from a supervisory role.
- Passion for continuous improvement and the ability to influence and align your team to achieving customer satisfaction and internal business KPIs.
- Competency in utilization of resources, work scheduling, planning / strategy, financial reporting, cost center management, sharing of resources for renewal /upgrade projects.
- Experience in Utility Maintenance & Operations and affinity with trades based teams.

**Salary**: $140,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
