**Your new company**
Our client is a very reputable Public Sector Department on the Gold Coast with a predominant focus on the community. They are a very large and diverse department who are seeking a Marketing Officer to join their team on a 12 month contract with a possible extension.

**Your new role**
In your role as the Marketing Officer you will sit within a highly dedicated and collaborative marketing team and you will liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a representational role on behalf of the branch/division. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Building strategies to strengthen and grow the department brand and its advocacy.
- Establishing and maintaining strong internal and external networks to facilitate development and delivery of effective, targeted and timely marketing activities.
- Undertaking content mapping of existing resources to inform content redevelopment planning
- Copywriting, editing and publishing public facing content and supporting materials.
- Assisting in the preparation, planning, coordination and deployment of new market research projects.
- Analysing and interpret findings with meaningful and actionable insights and write proposals and briefing documents
- Developing market research technical advice and support in response to internal priorities
- Managing internal relationships and understanding stakeholder’s key business objectives
- Providing advice and guidance across a range of marketing functions including advertising, sponsorship, use testing, video and content production.
- Marketing administration tasks, as directed.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have extensive experience as a Marketing Officer in a busy, every changing environment. Along with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong content mapping, copywriting and editing skills.
