Permanent Procurement Manager position with diversity focused company.

**Your new company**

Join an Indigenous focused employment company located in Canberra City. Your new company liaises with Government Departments to create employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians. Your role will involve actively supporting the employees and Government clients ensuring all procurement activities meet Commonwealth Procurement Policies.

**Your new role**
- You will be regularly engaging with and supporting key stakeholders, ensuring all procurement activities meet the business and corporate objectives. Answering to the Chief Operating Officer your tasks include:

- Lead specialist procurement input and account leadership
- Develop and implement annual Procurement Plan in accordance with client requirements and Category strategy
- Run effective and ethical sourcing activities
- Negotiate contractual conditions which achieve optimal outcomes
- Engage stakeholders
- Ensure that the contractual obligations of the supplier and clients are reflected in contractual documentation
- Share knowledge, learning and leverage with the rest of the community
- Develop the procurement strategies and execute all procurement related activities to meet the business and corporate objectives
- Ability to manage a variety of complex projects and issues concurrently
- Ability to manage stakeholders in a complex environment
- Continually review sourcing processes in line with changing trends to ensure best practice
- Participate in professional and personal development programs
- Support other team members to share and develop Category strategies and leverage across client base
- Coach and provide a supporting framework for operational staff (Facility Managers) for effective contract management, including contract administration and performance management
- Meet and exceed assigned financial and diversity targets
- Maintain compliance and ethics requirements
- Provide outstanding client service

**What you'll need to succeed**- 6+ years of procurement experience-
- Experience sourcing facilities/engineering services (desired)-
- Developed understanding on the State and Government procurement policies-
- Ability to provide coaching and support for operational staff-
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills-
- Experience in SAP**What you'll get in return**
