Create impact as an **Executive Manager, Technical Lead - Short Tail**

**Your Role**

As the Executive Manager, Technical Lead - Short Tail Claims, you will redefine complex claims expertise within our Intermediated Insurance claims division. By overseeing technical triage, assurance, and short tail claims (property, motor, and commercial insurance products), you will ensure exceptional outcomes for customers and partners. You’ll take a strategic and customer-focused approach, driving technical capability, optimizing supplier relationships, and managing high-value, complex claims.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Develop and implement frameworks to uplift technical expertise and learning.
- Oversee strategic direction and risk management for high-value and complex claims.
- Build and manage partnerships with external suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance and operational excellence through governance and risk assurance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in claims
- Leverage insights and analytics to optimize workflows and claims strategies

**About You**

You will be an accomplished leader with extensive insurance industry expertise. You bring deep expertise in short tail claims, regulatory knowledge, and proven success in managing complex claims. Your strategic thinking, people leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills set you apart, alongside your ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Demonstrated experience dealing with large corporate claims, business interruption claims, as well as strong commercial acumen is a must.
