**The Opportunity**:
Due to growth within the team this newly created role will partner with the business to set financial and operational targets and provide commercially focused analysis and interpretation of financial results to support decision making. Reporting to the Finance Director you will participate in the month-end process and play a major role in the improvement of finance processes, and the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and projects across the business. You will also ensure financial risks to the business are managed and opportunities explored.

**The Role**:
As a Business Partner within the Parkville site you will be responsible for:

- Regular reviews of business performance with department heads and cost center managers and ability to look behind the numbers, highlight reasons for any variances in the business, and execute action plans to bring variances in line with budget/forecast/plans,
- Maintain standard costs for Parkville site products.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement of internal management reporting and systems,
- Business partner on projects where required,
- Produce timely, accurate and robust budgets and forecasts, comparisons of actual to budgets / forecasts and make recommendations for remedial action where actual spend exceeds target spend,
- Contribute towards a high performing team and culture of development and progression
- Support on ad hoc corporate, site or departmental initiatives/projects, driven by the corporate agenda

**Your skills and experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or business related field CPA / CA qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 7 or more years of Accounting and Finance experience.
- SAP experience
- Highly developed analytical, influencing and communication skills required.
- Experience within manufacturing or FMCG well regarded
