**Description**:
About the role
As part of our Common Ground Adelaide Supportive Housing team, we’re seeking a Participation Support Worker to empower residents through face-to-face support and programs that foster education, training, employment (ETE), and long-term independence.
This role is ideal for someone who excels in person-centred support, creative program delivery, and building confidence in others.
Design and deliver programs that build pathways to education, training and employment (ETE)
Provide one-on-one support to residents in achieving their participation goals
Build confidence and connection through inclusive, strengths-based engagement
Work collaboratively with JobSeeker agencies, education providers, and local services
Develop partnerships to support residents with diverse needs and backgrounds
Assist in tracking participation, reporting on program outcomes and data trends
Contribute to continuous improvement through reflective practice and evaluation
About the team
The Customer Services division is central to delivering responsive, resident-focused services that foster safe, inclusive, and supportive housing communities. We design and implement housing services that prioritise resident wellbeing, accessibility, and satisfaction, utilising customer insights to inform continuous improvement. It ensures residents receive personalised support aligned with their diverse needs, enhancing quality of life and community connection.

About you
**You will have**:
A relevant qualification in community development, social sciences or a related field
Experience supporting individuals into education, training, or employment pathways
Knowledge of barriers to participation and how to address them collaboratively
Strong communication, organisation, and program coordination skills
Confidence working with diverse communities, and in collaborative environments
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
