Technical Program Manager, Smart Building Technology

How you will make an impact

The Dexus Building Technology Group are responsible for the portfolio operational technology strategy, deployment and management requirements to provide an intelligent data driven and sustainable portfolio with scalability. Working across the business, you will engage with internal stakeholders to execute smart building technology projects across areas such as communication networks, building management systems, energy metering, IoT and others.

Main duties include:

- Act as project manager on technology led initiatives
- Change management and adoption (by operation staff and end-customers)
- Stakeholder communication
- Project closure
- General oversight and program management of all projects

About You

This is a multi-dimensional and multi-functional role. You will need to be comfortable reporting program status to executives, as well as diving deep into technical discussions with internal teams and external parties.

You will assume a lead technical role in project planning and execution for both pilot and full-scale deployments as required, and be expected to manage critical program risks, issues, escalations, and resolutions.

You may possess tertiary qualifications in IT or Engineering, or have an extensive trade background, relevant to property or facilities management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to liaise in a professional manner with all levels of the business and external clients
- Effective time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Performance orientated and results drive
- Adhere to, support and promote the DEXUS Compliance Policies and Procedures, which govern personal and professional behaviour
