We are excited to be expanding our Burleigh Heads based team and are seeking a values driven Contact Centre Assistant to work on a part time basis.

The purpose of the Contact Centre Team is to provide the first point of contact (telephone, or online) for prospective clients, their families, service providers and the general community accessing Lives Lived Well services nationally. You will play a key role in supporting individuals to take the first step to make positive changes in their lives. At Lives Lived Well, we’ve been treating and supporting people whose lives are affected by alcohol and other drugs for over 50 years. We’re growing fast and building a reputation as a trusted, innovative provider, focused on clinical excellenceand we’d love you to be part of it.

**Your Opportunity
**The successful applicant can expect to be working a minimum of 7.5 hours/week on a set day (Friday) with the possibility of this role working 2 days per week in the near future. Ideally you will also be available to work additional hours/days if required to cover other staff who are away. Our usual office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm.

**What you will bring to the role**:
You are an engaging individual with the ability to connect with clients who are navigating mental health challenges and difficult life experiences. You can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

**Additionally, you will also possess the following skills and experience**:

- A positive and enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude and a passion for helping others.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with members of the public, LLW staff and external organisations.
- You are reliable and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and efficiently to process a high volume of telephone calls daily in a supportive/caring way.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- You’ll self-care - this role can be challenging and it’s important to us that you are at your best, to do your best.You are available to work during school holidays and Christmas (excluding public holidays).
