**About the role**:
Are you a talented appliance repair technician, or someone from a similar field, looking to make the next step up and develop a rewarding career with a great global organisation? Due to further business growth, we are looking for a field service technician with relevant transferrable skills to make the leap into medical equipment service and repair.

This opportunity will suit someone with the right attitude, skills, knowledge, and experience, to join our service team and really make a difference. Our technicians work in the crucial and exciting world of healthcare infection control, where our products and services ultimately help our customers save lives and improve patient outcomes.

As a valued member of our NSW Healthcare equipment service team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance and servicing on complex infection control machinery in hospitals, day surgeries and life science facilities located in Sydney metro and regional areas.

As well as service and maintenance responsibilities, you may have the opportunity to work on major projects and be involved in capital equipment installations, commissioning, and validation.

**Ideally you will possess**:

- Strong technical skills and a solution-based approach
- Experience of mechanics, electronics, electrical motors or industrial washers/washing machines or dishwashers is preferable.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, steam or pressure valves
- A restricted electrical license
- A positive “can do” attitude with great communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team
- A clear customer service focus
- Desire to succeed.
- A clear understanding of what it means to “own the outcome”

This role might suit a recent graduate. Some state-wide travel and the occasional overnight stay may be required
