The Multimedia Specialist role is to support Healthscope in the next evolution of business transformation. The role is designed with a focus on providing **creative and digital design services, as well as IT support** for all of Healthscope and its network of hospital’s multimedia products, supporting strategic marketing and campaign strategies aligned to overall business objectives.
**About the role**
The Multimedia Specialist role is to support Healthscope in the next evolution of business transformation. Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Manager - Corporate Comms and Campaigns, the role is designed with a focus on providing creative design services for Healthscope’s multimedia products to support marketing and campaign strategies that are aligned to strategic business objectives and provide a tangible ROI on activity. The role will also contribute to the overhaul and complete redesign of Healthscope’s websites and digital products.
The in-house Multimedia Specialist provides IT and digital design services and support to the Marketing Team, Corporate Affairs Advisors and the wider Corporate Affairs Team. The role is a point of contact for sound, graphics, video and web development requirements across a number of channels including:
- To provide an improved experience on our 42+ websites and other digital platforms, as well as auditing the overall design and code.
- Creation and development of website widgets, modules and assets.
- Creation of paid Display Banners
- Design and development of digital animations for creative ad banners
- eDM assets
**Responsibilities**
Additionally, the role takes responsibility for the following areas:
- To provide an improved user experience across all of our platforms, including websites and other multimedia platforms, as well as auditing the overall design and layout and patient-focused copy;
- Responding to and helping manage campaign briefs with well-considered creative through-the-line concepts within the constraints of cost and time;
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas, concepts and provide creative solutions within agreed timelines for both online and offline channels;
- Actively contribute in team ideation sessions and bring the ideas to life;
- Preparing integrated Healthscope advertising and promotional collateral for digital use, in line with Brand Guidelines;
- Designing and developing modern and constantly evolving digital media for each campaign launch;
- Working to a brief, concept & design across paid and owned channels including (but not limited to) an evolving website, internal and external apps, and other paid media, such as Display media;
- Supporting the Marketing Team with assets for our digital and social channels, including jpegs, gifs, animations, and web page design;
- Working with IT/network specialists to manage security and backup
- Conducting testing and error resolution for designed products
- Development of Healthscope’s eDM assets and management of eDM guidelines; and
- Managing asset libraries and document control.
To support these priorities, stakeholder engagement and working across Healthscope will be
essential to bring marketing activity to life.
**Essential criteria**
Creative, innovative and passionate, you come to the role with a flair for developing creative concepts and bringing them to life. You approach every task with the end user in mind and always deliver the brief. Additionally, you bring the following:
- Tertiary qualification in IT, multimedia, digital media, interactive digital media or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ industry experience is needed, ideally in a similar fast paced environment
- Solid knowledge of Design apps like Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
- Proven experience with coding in CSS, HTML, PHP and JavaScript
- Assisting in analysing, specifying and developing Internet strategies, web-based methodologies and development plans
- A good understanding of digital programming and UX design with a strong understanding of what best practice looks like today
- Proficiency in branding
Ability to work with speed and accuracy
- A desire to always be learning
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience designing for online and offline channels;
- Experience with photography;
- Prior experience working to brand guidelines;
- UI design experience would be highly regarded;
- Superb time management skills and a habit for meeting deadlines;
- Speed and a high attention to detail; and
- A team player at heart who excels working with others but also self-motivated when working alone.
If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant experience within the bracket of $90,000 to $100,000.
