Quantitative Research at SIG:
Members of our quantitative research team work with traders and other researchers to develop, test and run automated strategies, data analysis tools, and assist in refining informal traders’ ideas into quantitatively precise questions and solutions.

SIG's quantitative researchers are skilled mathematicians, physicists, statisticians, computer scientists, economists and engineers, typically possessing a PhD and/or significant work experience in related fields.

**What we're looking for**

We seek people with:

- A PhD in a quantitative or technical discipline.
- Exceptional quantitative and statistical understanding.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Good general computer knowledge and strong programming ability. Python/Matlab an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivation.
