**About Cocoon SDA Care**:
Cocoon SDA Care provides support staff to NDIS-registered provider. Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs. Our highly skilled and passionate team is dedicated to supporting our Participants to live life to the full.

**The role**:

- Experience in managing participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs.
- Own vehicle required. Experience in manual handling, transfers, bowel management experience, physical support needs, advantage and desirable mental health nurse background or similar qualifications.
- Experience in managing participants with challenging behaviours

- We are seeking permanent or part time Disability Support Workers who have experience in supporting participants with high complex needs.
- You will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support those with medical needs and manual handling requirement to live in an environment that maximises personal growth and independence.

**Mandatory requirement**
- ** Certificate III/IV, Diploma or Degree in Individual Support Disability or equivalent**:

- ** First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.**:

- ** Current Driver’s License**:

- ** National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS Worker Screening check**:

- ** Working with Children Check.**

**Additional training**
- ** Mental health training - complex mental health with diagnosis of depression, suicidal tendency, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, BDD**
