ASW Marine Pty Ltd have ongoing projects scheduled well into the future and are looking to expand our every growing team. We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable people to join our team.

**About the Role**

We are seeking qualified or industry experienced Shipwrights/ Boat Builders/ Fibreglass Laminators/ Marine Mechanics or Engineers/ Spray Painters/ Detailers/ Marine Electricians/ Teak & Timber Fabricators or Refinishers with technical skills and practical knowledge working on boats.

**Your day-to-day activities may include**:

- Shipwright & Boat Building Tasks
- Fibreglass Repair, Modifications & Mould Construction
- Mechanical & 12V/ 24V Marine Electrical Tasks
- Custom Fit outs and Re-fits
- Timber Boat Repair and Modifications
- Teak Deck Installations or Refinishing
- General Marine Maintenance Duties
- Gelcoat Repairs & Spray Painting
- Machine Polishing & Detailing

**We require you to have**:

- A current trade certificate 3 in Boat Building
- 2 years experience in a similar role within the Marine, RV or Caravan Industry
- The ability to work unsupervised or with mínimal supervision
- The drive to complete your tasks to our expected high standards
- Understanding of all health and safety requirements within the workplace
- Current manual driver license
- A Boat Licence is advantageous
- A Forklift Licence is an advantage but not crucial
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time keeping skills
- Be punctual & reliable with a great work ethic
- The ability to diversify & multi-task
- Forward thinking and the ability to use your own initiative

**What we offer**:

- Full time position Monday to Friday with an attractive salary
- Five day working week, finishing early on Fridays.
- Great team environment
- Fully equipped trade facilities with all the major equipment provided (Hand Tools are Required)

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the job provides excellent working conditions and job security for the future.
