We are seeking a Boat Builder or experienced Marine Craft Construction Trades Assistant with a high level of attention to detail, a commitment to safety and continuous improvement, and an ability to manage resources and meet production targets within our business.

This role involves undertaking and coordinating deck, join and post join assembly processes, and the presentation of completed vessels to the next stages of manufacture. Vessel construction is to be completed using Riviera’s safe operating procedures (SOP’s), design specifications (Drawings and Manuals) and quality systems (QC books and Non-conformance rectification). Parts and consumables management and daily housekeeping is also required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure WHS standards are always complied with,
- Review and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and all other site policy & procedural requirements, as well as awareness documentation,
- Building of vessels according to Riviera build list specifications,
- Using Riviera quality control documentation to audit and confirm build conformance throughout the build process (pre join, join, post join & pre delivery testing),
- Provide accurate reporting and of any rectification of non-conformance to department manager,
- Assist with training and supervising of Riviera apprentices,
- Housekeeping and area organisation,
- Strong communication and organisation within the business.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Experience (boat building preferred) in a manufacturing environment,
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to work with a strong team,
- Superior ability to build to performance and quality standards,
- Excellent time & organisational skills,
- Very high-level attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
