**The Centre**

Our client is a highly regarded, small community based not-for-profit Centre in Melbourne's inner suburbs, renowned for its commitment to the local community, its very low staff turnover and fantastic management team

The Centre has very little on-street parking, however it is a few minutes walk from public transport so this position would suit you if you take public transport regularly.

**The Opportunity**

Your role as Centre Director will require you to oversee the full operation of the running of the centre in regards to compliance and staff development. You will use your previous experience in a similar role to ensure the high standards of the centre are maintained, using your interpersonal skills to create an inclusive environment for children, families and educators. The service offers flexible shifts for the director and as well as a 9 day fortnight to have a work life balance. You will be offered a lot of support with this role, but will also have the autonomy to develop the service as you see fit.

You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS and be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as be comfortable talking to families. Ideally you will have had several years experience within the childcare industry.
- Diploma in Children's Services
- Working with children card
- Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis
