**Join Our Dental Team as a Dental Assistant & Receptionist**

**Location**: Wollongong Health Centre
**Employment Type**: Permanent Part-Time
**Availability**: Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Are you passionate about dental care and looking to join a dynamic and friendly team? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant and Receptionist to join our practice on a permanent part-time basis

**About the Role**:
As a dental assistant and receptionist, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, flexible, and eager to be part of a caring and professional environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the dentist during procedures, including chair-side support and sterilisation of instruments;
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments;
- Managing patient appointments, bookings and recalls;
- Welcoming patients and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure;
- Handling patient enquiries and coordinating patient care;
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date; and
- Managing payments and health fund claims.

**What we are looking for**:

- Availability on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays is essential;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on patient care;
- Good organisational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
- Proficiency in dental software (Oasis, Examine Pro) is a plus but not essential.
