Layout Artist with Track and Matchmove Skills

You will have experience in Maya, and a strong reel that demonstrates the quality of your work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Layout Supervisor and other team members to establish the camera and staging for each shot in alignment with the project's requirements and artistic vision.
- Utilize track and matchmove skills to integrate live-action footage with CG elements seamlessly.
- Create accurate 3D camera tracks and solve perspective and distortion issues as needed.
- Work closely with the Animation and VFX teams to ensure continuity and consistency in camera movement and layout throughout the project.
- Implement any necessary adjustments or revisions based on feedback from supervisors and directors.
- Maintain organized file structures and adhere to naming conventions to facilitate smooth handoffs between departments.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to layout, track, and matchmove techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Layout Artist with track and matchmove skills in a VFX studio environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Autodesk Maya, Nuke, and other relevant tracking and matchmoving tools.
- Strong understanding of camera principles, composition, and cinematography techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with other team members.
- A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating previous work in layout, track, and matchmove, showcasing both technical proficiency and artistic creativity.
