**About the Opportunity**
Due to consistent growth across our business Malcolm Thompson Pumps is now seeking a Purchasing & Logistics Officer to join our high performing team near Perth Airport WA 6105.

As the Purchasing & Logistics Officer, you will work across allocated business units providing overseas purchasing services to ensure approved orders are supplied as requested and in accordance with the agreed terms. You will recommend purchasing quantities for replenishment stock to assist the Product Manager in making decisions on routine stock orders.

You will monitor the progress of orders, investigate problems and ensure the planned receipt dates in the system reflect the latest information while utilising your attention to detail and solutions focused mindset to investigate any issues that may occur with goods received including, under/over/incorrect supply or damaged goods and coordinate the resolution.

Your responsibilities in this role will include;
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders based on agreed replenishment levels and non-routine Purchase Orders
- Review replenishment reports and recommend changes to purchasing quantities
- Create advanced shipment Notifications (ASNs)
- Confirm invoices match POs prior to receipt of goods.

**About You**
To be considered for this role, you will possess;
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of procurement concepts (MRP/ERP) and processes
- Experience working with ERP systems highly regarded
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills essential
- Administration, communication and organisation skills.
