We are looking for a Community Manager to join and be part of our fantastic over-50’s lifestyle communities’ business.

An exciting time to come into this newly created, multi-faceted role, based at our new Stockland Halcyon Highlands, in Mickleham, northeast of Melbourne CBD.

**About the role**

This role will be working to provide the best operations management and customer service possible and look after the Homeowner experience. You can be the person who delivers delight to our new Homeowners and future new Homeowners.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Support and nurture the delivery of active and passive activities, including inductions, community events, wellness program and functions
- Manage all Homeowners queries and complaints promptly in a courteous and professional manner, and in line with internal escalation procedures where required
- Manage front of house duties, back of house duties including all general office administration and record keeping
- Monitor the ongoing financial performance competently and seek out opportunities to improve the Homeowners experience and/or profitability
- Actively contribute to Stockland’s risk aware culture and performance through participating in operational risk training and adhering to relevant compliance and regulatory obligations
- Ensure compliance and participation across company and industry wide audits

**About you**

We are looking for a passionate and empathetic people-person with unparalleled stakeholder relationship skills. You’ll be commercially minded with an understanding of how budgets work.
- You’ll bring solid experience in a similar role managing customer experience and property
- Experience in Land Lease Community, Retirement Living, or Hotel/Holiday Resort industry will be highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with building relationships with internal and external stakeholders is key
- Exposure and knowledge in financial and budget management will be highly advantageous
- You’ll bring strong emotional intelligence and maturity to deal with sensitive and confidential items
- You are community minded, and service orientated, with a can-do and hands-on approach
- Proficient computer literacy including use of MS Office Suite
- Have the flexibility to attend functions outside of normal working hours as required
