The role is responsible for the administration, coordination and support of projects in the Corporate Technology team which oversees the planning, execution and delivery of major technology programs/projects in consultation with business areas. This key role in the Project Management Office will provide project support to the project management team by ensuring projects align to the defined project governance model and lifecycle framework to deliver quality outcomes for the business.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Support a diverse range of technology projects, representing the Project Management Office by providing administrative and operational support to the project management team members, and ensuring that deliverables are met on time.
- Provide efficient and timely project and administrative support including record management processes, collating content for discussion papers, reports and correspondence, coordinating tasks, information and records management, financial management, and contract management.
- Delivery support for project team members by providing PMO services support and expertise so that the optimised business case is delivered for the business on time, to quality expectations, and within budget to realise targeted benefits.
- Ensure all project team members align to the agreed governance and lifecycle framework, continually improving the processes as required.
- Ensure appropriate project close out activities are undertaken to optimise the handover to operational teams and assist the PM to fulfil post project requirements in a timely manner, including Lessons Learned and Benefits Realisation.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with a range of internal and external clients to achieve effective outcomes for the project and deal with sensitive and/or classified information in an appropriate manner.
- Support the management of collaborative and strategic relationships through working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Framework & Governance Requirements
- Support preparation of monthly reporting and co-ordination of governance forums, including but not limited to project status, actions and decisions, financial expenditure and benefits, risks and issues across multiple concurrent projects.
- Designing and embedding document management discipline and hygiene in support of PMO governance frameworks and routines.
- Providing support for governance and assurance across the program.
- Ensuring assurance activities are undertaken regularly to check the performance and products of projects align to the defined standards and policies.
- Ensure Health Checks are performed at regular and meaningful times to measure what is going well and what areas of improvement require attention.

Key Performance Indicators
- Reporting requirements are prepared and delivered in a timely manner in order to facilitate appropriate decision making by Corporate Technology Leadership team.
- Resource management across the portfolio of projects is managed proactively with any conflicts managed effectively without compromising schedule(s).
- Operational excellence across the project portfolio through optimisation of the project lifecycle framework, ensuring projects are on time, within budget and within agreed scope.

Knowledge / Experience:
- 5+ years proven experience in a project support environment or similar role, with a focus on governance and project lifecycle framework.
- Demonstrated project support skills and experience, particularly a thorough understanding of project management principles and techniques for technology projects.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication, consultation and negotiation skills that build and sustain productive relationships and partnerships across all levels
- Industry qualification in Project Management Methodology (PRINCE2/PMBOK) desired.
- Superior Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven advanced influencing skills across diverse stakeholder sets to achieve outcomes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders both internal and external, with superior influencing skills.
- Previous experience in resources is desired.

The role will be based at the Perenti office in the Perth CBD.
