About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at D&D Restaurants Pty Ltd t/a Dosa Hut Indian Multi Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Indian dishes, including Tandoori, Indochinese, and Dosas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage kitchen production to achieve consistency and deliver exceptional products and service
  • Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and order food supplies
  • Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • Maintain high-level kitchen standards and quality
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Participate in cost controlling and waste management of food

Requirements:

  • Qualified in hospitality with AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) or minimum three years' experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
  • Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years full-time experience as a Chef
