The Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA) is seeking a suitably qualified individual to join its Board of Directors.

AOPA is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to promote a clinically safe, effective, and connected Orthotic and Prosthetic profession in Australia.

The Board member will be responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of AOPA and ensuring the organisation's governance and risk management practices are effective.

The ideal candidate will have significant skills, experience, and qualifications in one or more of the following areas:

• Not-For-Profit Governance

• Communication

• High-level advocacy

• Information Technology and cyber security

The Board member will be required to attend six Board meetings per year, as well as additional committee meetings, and will be expected to contribute to the development of AOPA's strategic plan.
