Aged Care Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual to provide essential support and assistance to our elderly clients in their day-to-day activities. As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care assistance, including showering and grooming the client, as well as providing companionship and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care Assistance: Provide showering and grooming assistance to clients, ensuring their personal hygiene and dignity are maintained.
  • Companionship and Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Reporting Changes: Report any changes in the client's condition to management, ensuring timely interventions and support.
Requirements:
  • Previous Aged Care Experience: Possess previous experience working with elderly clients, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification: Hold current First Aid and CPR certification, ensuring you can respond to emergencies effectively.
  • Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle: Possess a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, enabling you to transport clients safely.
