Clinical Mental Health Care Coordinator

Deliver high-quality evidence-based clinical care as a member of the multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for adults aged 18 years and over who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.
- Conduct intake and assessments, including risk assessments, care treatment planning, care coordination with internal & external services, and provide brief psychological intervention.
- must have one of the following: full registration as an occupational therapist or mental health nurse, general or provisional registration as a psychologist, or social work registration / eligibility.
- knowledge & understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions & clinical practice, as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use.
- highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills.
- ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf, and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families, friends, and stakeholders.
- experience in the use of electronic client/customer management systems, ability to use a desktop computer, and experience with microsoft office applications.
- must be eligible to apply/currently hold a working with children check.
