Job Title: Community Worker

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill this role. As a Community Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing.
  • Transport to appointments and shopping.
  • Meal preparation.
  • Social Support or Respite for family/carers.
  • Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
  • A reliable team player.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • An Australian driver's license and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential).
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program).
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check.
