Job Description

We are seeking experienced occupational therapists and speech pathologists to join our team in providing person-centred, strength-based support to individuals with autism. Our approach focuses on empowering participants to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

You will work closely with our trusted Aspect Therapy team to develop and implement individualized support strategies that cater to each participant's unique needs and strengths. This may involve conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering interventions in a community setting.

  • Work with a leading service provider in the country
  • Purpose-led organisation – make a difference in the lives of people on the autism spectrum
  • Support 3 to 4 participants per day in the community
  • Be part of a team celebrated for its person-centred, strength-based approach and life-changing outcomes for Autistic people

As an occupational therapist or speech pathologist, you will bring your expertise and passion for supporting individuals with autism to our dynamic team. You will have the opportunity to deepen your skills in neurodivergence and contribute to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or speech pathology
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in speech pathology or occupational therapy
  • Experience in disability services is a plus but not required
  • A self-starter eager to deepen skills in neurodivergence
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or willingness to obtain
  • Current driver's license, use of own vehicle for work (reimbursed per km), and willingness to travel locally
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • Working with Children Check for paid employment in your state
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' (click here to access)
