Lead Data Science Team

As a seasoned technical leader with a passion for empowering people, you will lead a team of data science professionals to drive business growth through AI and Machine Learning.

This role involves leading, mentoring, and guiding your team to navigate the business landscape, deliver high-quality modelling solutions, and improve customer outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and managing key modelling assets, fostering a team vision, and promoting state-of-the-art data science techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior data scientists to reach their full potential
  • Present solutions to senior stakeholders and drive business decision-making
  • Develop and manage key modelling assets using Python or R
  • Collaborate with business areas and contribute to the creation of a centre of excellence in data science
  • Work closely with the Data Science community to share knowledge and best practices

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, exceptional statistical knowledge, advanced technical skills, and a relevant tertiary qualification.
