About The Role

Delivering an exceptional experience to donors is at the heart of this role as a Caregiving Professional. This position requires excellent customer-facing skills and a genuine passion for creating a memorable service experience.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Greet potential donors to assess their suitability and eligibility to donate
  • Create a personalized donor experience that exceeds expectations
  • Conduct routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
  • Set up equipment for safe collection procedures
  • Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets
  • Maintain close communication with donors post-donation and assist them in scheduling future appointments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet collection targets
Essential Skills And Qualifications
  • A strong commitment to delivering outstanding donor care
  • Comfortable working with medical devices and handling biological materials
  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending required for equipment setup and maintenance
  • Occasional lifting between 9-22.7kgs may be necessary
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday/Sunday, including weekends and afternoons
