We provide high-quality in-home care and assistance to our valued clients in the Riverina and Central West, supporting people living with Alzheimer's, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs and older Australians. Our services help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes.

About the Role:

We have positions available for qualified, reliable and passionate Personal Care Workers to join our team in Tumut and surrounding areas. As an experienced Aged Care Worker or Disability Support Worker, you will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working within a person-centred environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic duties
  • Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship and support
  • Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
  • Preparing food, feeding clients and administering medications
  • Observing, caring and reporting any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
  • Responding to emergency situations
  • Working weekend and overnight shifts as rostered

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence
  • Endorsed to administer medication (desirable)
  • Comprehensive car insurance (desirable)
  • COVID19 Vaccination (mandatory)
