Senior Vendor Manager

This is a critical position within our organisation, responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services and solutions that support our mission. As the Senior Vendor Manager, you will oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of our ICT vendors, ensuring the best value and quality of service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Vendor Management Strategies
Develop and implement vendor management strategies aligned with organisational goals, ensuring the best value and quality of service.
Vendor Selection and OnboardingIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors, ensuring they meet our standards and requirements.
Negotiate Contracts and SLAsNegotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Vendor Performance MonitoringMonitor vendor performance and compliance, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Continuous ImprovementDrive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise vendor performance and cost efficiency.
Reporting and AnalysisPrepare and present reports on vendor performance and metrics to senior management, providing insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements- Education
Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field.
ExperienceMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in vendor management, particularly in the ICT sector.
SkillsProven experience in contract negotiation and management, strong understanding of IT services, infrastructure, and solutions, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical and Problem-Solving SkillsAbility to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
