The Role

We seek dedicated drivers to operate cutting-edge triple road trains, navigating long-distance routes across various terrains and weather conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Navigating efficient and safe operations, monitoring cargo loads, performing pre-trip inspections, and managing schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Ensuring freight is transported safely and on time, while maintaining secure and undamaged cargo.
  • Regularly inspecting and cleaning the cab and cargo area, ensuring proper safety equipment is available and in good condition.
  • Sharing driving responsibilities, communicating effectively about road conditions and fatigue levels, and providing support during rest breaks.
  • Performing routine checks on the truck's mechanical and safety features, including brakes, lights, and tires, and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Accurately completing and maintaining all required paperwork, such as delivery receipts, logbooks, and compliance reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination while on the road.
  • Current MC Drivers Licence, allowing operation of heavy vehicles with multiple trailers.
  • Refrigeration and general freight experience, with familiarity transporting temperature-sensitive goods and general freight, ensuring compliance with handling procedures.
  • Accident-free history, showcasing responsibility and dedication to safety protocols on the road.
  • Understanding of applicable laws and regulations, including load limitations and route planning for optimal efficiency.
  • Knowledge of fatigue management regulations, ensuring driver well-being, including proper rest periods and monitoring driving hours.
