We're seeking experienced drivers with an MC licence to join a flexible team offering casual, part-time, and full-time position— weekend and night work available.
## Role overview- **Position:** Truck Driver (Casual / Part Time / Full Time) - **Locations:** Local Adelaide and country-wide driving routes - **Shift types:** Day, night, weekend, and on-call shifts available - **Reporting to:** Fleet Supervisor / Operations Manager## Key responsibilities- Safely operate heavy vehicles and deliver goods to scheduled destinations on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete logbooks/driver manifests.
- Secure, load, and unload freight using safe lifting techniques and appropriate equipment.
- Follow route plans, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally and promptly.
- Maintain basic vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues.
## Mandatory requirements- **Current MC (Multi-Combination) licence** held and valid.
- Valid drivers' licence and satisfactory driving record.
- Right to work in Australia and ability to pass pre-employment checks (drug & alcohol screening as required).
## Preferred qualifications (highly regarded)- **Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsement.
** - **MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card).
** - **Forklift ticket (LF or equivalent).
** - Previous experience with long-haul and local deliveries.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to handle freight documentation.
