Group Forecast Analyst Role
The Group Forecast Analyst will play a critical role in shaping the future of critical business functions, ensuring accurate demand forecasts, and optimizing forecasting systems. This position requires a strong background in time series analysis, forecasting, and predictive analytics, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for all Woolworths Group stores and products, determining methodologies, monitoring performance, and taking action on exceptions.
- Optimize forecasting systems by maintaining and optimizing key inputs, tuning parameters, and reviewing data settings to improve accuracy.
- Model and implement new methodologies to assess benefits and drive implementation, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of forecasting and analytics.
- Support supply and network planning by providing accurate forecasts for efficient inventory and order management, contributing to improved sales and operational performance.
- Influence sales and operational outcomes by contributing to improved sales and operational performance for all Woolworths Group retail businesses.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive analytics, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be driven to deliver continuous improvements based on data analysis, communication, and change management, and have the ability to manage and analyze large datasets and systems for informed decision-making and performance enhancement.
