Group Forecast Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
- Drive Accurate Demand Forecasts: Develop and maintain methodologies to ensure accurate demand forecasts for all Woolworths Group stores and products, monitoring performance and taking action on exceptions.
- Optimise Forecasting Systems: Maintain and optimise key inputs, tune parameters, and review data settings to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Model and Implement New Methodologies: Assess the benefits of new algorithms and settings, and drive their implementation to enhance forecasting capabilities.
- Support Supply and Network Planning: Provide accurate forecasts for efficient inventory and order management, supporting supply and network planning initiatives.
- Influence Sales and Operational Outcomes: Contribute to improved sales and operational performance for all Woolworths Group retail businesses.
About You
- Statistical Expertise: Strong background in time series analysis, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
- Communication Proficiency: Ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for diverse audiences.
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- Improvement Focus: Driven to deliver continuous improvements based on data analysis, communication, and change management.
- Technical Skills: Ability to manage and analyse large datasets and systems for informed decision-making and performance enhancement.
