As a lawyer in this field, you will be working closely with experienced leaders to identify key opportunities for impact. This includes using your deep knowledge of climate and environment litigation to drive strategy for future work and maximising environmental outcomes for clients.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in climate and environment litigation and an interest in climate change and related laws and campaigns. You will also have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional case analysis and development skills, and an ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.

The main duties and responsibilities include:
- Using your deep knowledge of climate and environment litigation to identify key opportunities for Slater & Gordon to impact the development of the law and enforce rights for those suffering the effects of climate change and environmental degradation.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of developments in the environment and climate space to drive strategy for future work, maximising impact for clients and environmental outcomes.
- Bringing experience in assessing novel areas of work and developing strategic relationships to partner with other bodies to advance climate and environment goals.
