Job Overview:
The Payroll Manager will oversee the entire payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing in compliance with legislative requirements.
This role requires an experienced professional who can manage complex payroll processes, work effectively with stakeholders, and support junior staff in developing technical and soft skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating payroll processing and administration
- Establishing a high-performance culture and driving continuous improvement
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy, processing, and reporting
- Developing strategies for optimizing payroll systems and processes
- Monitoring policy and legislative changes impacting payroll
- Supporting remuneration and benefits review
- Building relationships with key stakeholders
- Providing direction and mentoring to a fast-paced payroll team
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in accounting or finance, leadership experience, and 7+ years of payroll experience. NDIS knowledge and SCHADS Award understanding are highly regarded.
