Job Title: Infrastructure Development Specialist

Overview:

As a skilled and experienced professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our region through the planning and advancement of civil infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive civil engineering plans and/or computer models to meet strategic and operational requirements.
  • Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to concept designs for long-term infrastructure planning.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or demonstrated progression through a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification as recognized by Engineers Australia.
  • Proficiency in Design, Drafting and Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (or Environmental Engineering as recognized by Engineers Australia).
  • Demonstrated ability to use survey equipment including GNSS rovers, digital levels, total stations and ground penetrating radar.
  • Extensive design experience in Local Government civil works.
