About the Role
  • You will contribute to the planning and advancement of civil infrastructure, bringing strategic visions to life from concept through to completion.
  • As a Design Engineer (Infrastructure Strategy and Design), you'll prepare and deliver civil engineering plans and/or computer models for the organisation to meet budget, strategic and operational requirements.

This diverse role involves unique and exciting projects every day, where you'll grow your skills by investigating, preparing, developing and managing engineering designs using civil design software including 12d, Microstation and XPSTORM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and delivery of civil engineering plans and/or computer models for organisational needs
  • Providing technical advice to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Concept designs for long-term infrastructure planning

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent as recognised by Engineers Australia
  • Proficiency in design, drafting and Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Well-developed report writing and communication skills

To thrive in this role, you must have excellent time management skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience with survey equipment such as GNSS rovers, digital levels, total stations and ground penetrating radar.

We Would Also Love You To Have:

  • Demonstrated ability to use survey equipment including GNSS rovers, digital levels, total stations and ground penetrating radar
  • Extensive design experience in Local Government civil works
