Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to lead our estimating team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing strategic estimating leadership and client engagement across various projects.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, delivering exceptional estimating expertise and driving client value. You will also be involved in project estimate management and client-facing engagement during projects and ongoing strategic client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end estimating process on a project, directing the production of quantity surveying/estimating deliverables.
  • Produce technical deliverables, applying industry experience autonomously with limited guidance.
  • Manage and deliver work across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement project execution plans, including verification and review of procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate potential financial risks through proactive planning.
  • Forecast and assess costs, timelines, quality parameters, and constructability factors.
  • Participate in value management and risk workshops as a subject matter expert.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external project teams, as well as technical leaders, to plan, develop, deliver, and operate multidisciplinary projects.
  • Mentor and assist junior QS/Estimators within your specialist discipline.
  • Contribute to bid preparation and/or management during the bid phase of projects.
