Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Project Costing Specialist to join our Canberra-based team and contribute to a critical capability initiative.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed cost models and estimates for Defence projects.
  • Engage with technical and financial stakeholders to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
  • Apply advanced costing methodologies using tools such as CCT, ACEIT, or TruePlanning.
  • Identify key cost drivers and assess financial risks and sensitivities.
  • Prepare clear, defensible costing documentation and present findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the refinement of costing frameworks and best practices.
Key Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in cost estimation within Defence programs.
  • Proficiency in one or more Defence costing tools (Defence Capability Testing Tool (CCT), ACEIT, TruePlanning parametric costing tool).
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex costing concepts clearly and confidently.
  • Experience working in government or regulated environments is highly regarded.
  • Level 3 consultants preferred; strong Level 2 candidates will also be considered.
Clearance Requirement

Applicants must be Australian Citizens with an active NV1 clearance.
