Role Summary

The Night Cleaning Supervisor role is a key position within our cleaning services team, requiring exceptional leadership and management skills to oversee daily operations and lead a team dedicated to providing superior customer experiences.

This senior-level position involves developing a high-performing cleaning team, efficiently managing day-to-day cleaning operations, including staff training, tracking service delivery, rostering, auditing, and other operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing cleaning team
  • Provide effective leadership and mentoring to cleaning personnel
  • Lead and inspire team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Perform administrative functions, such as incident reporting and assisting with staff rosters
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of contract cleaning requirements
  • Establish and maintain excellent customer relations
  • Understand and implement customer security, environmental, and safety requirements
  • Adhere to Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Respond to general cleaning, periodical, preventative, and emergency incidents or queries
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Possess permanent full work rights in Australia
  • Be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance Check
  • Hold a minimum of 1-2 years experience in retail/commercial cleaning
  • Demonstrate previous experience managing a team
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery
  • Show knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Display good administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Be able to give direction and instruction to others
  • Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and work under pressure
  • Maintain consistent attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work weekends
