Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our technical squad, driving the delivery of innovative solutions and ensuring seamless collaboration with offshore engineers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Solution Delivery: Design, develop, and implement technology solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and adhere to agreed timelines.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a high-performing team culture, leveraging strong communication skills and technical expertise to guide and motivate team members.
  • Representative Role: Serve as a key representative of the team, contributing to forums, sprint planning, risk management, dependencies, and governance.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Teradata Expertise: Possess 10-12+ years of experience with Teradata (SQL, Utilities, Architecture), preferably with certification.
  • Unix Scripting Proficiency: Demonstrate hands-on experience with Unix Scripting.
  • Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit exceptional abilities in communication and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of Technologies Used by Westpac (Desirable): Possess applicable knowledge of technologies used by Westpac.
  • High-Energy and Assertive Personality: Display a high-energy, assertive personality with the ability to make tough decisions.
