Role Overview

The Scheduler has a vital role in arranging the supervision and transportation of children to and from their family contact within the framework of Child Protection legislation, practice guidelines, and best interest principles.

This position requires effective collaboration with families, practitioners, teams, agencies, services, and the community to facilitate transports and contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accepting and allocating screened Child Protection referrals for cases requiring transport and/or contact between children and their families
  • Engaging with professionals in matters relating to transport and access
  • Collaborating with families and practitioners to ensure smooth transport arrangements
