Job Title: Payroll Officer

About the Role:

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll management, preferably in an educational setting, with a strong understanding of employment legislation and its application to accurate payroll processes.

  • End-to-end payroll processing for salaried, full-time, part-time, and casual staff
  • Manage payroll-related queries and issues
  • Liaise with HR regarding staff appointments, terminations, conditions of service, and other relevant matters

Additional responsibilities include maintaining employee payroll data, checking and maintaining accuracy within PROCEEDA and associated systems, and efficient and accurate high-volume transactional processing.

  • Prior experience in payroll, financial services, or administration spanning at least 2+ years

  • Previous experience working to strict commercial deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment legislation and how it relates to accurate payroll management and processes
